Notes

• Consultations are always free. 
• Minimum quilting charges are $49 for edge-to-edge, and $79 for custom.
• T-shirt quilts have an additional $20 fee and they MUST be stabilized.
• We only use high quality, 100% cotton, quilting thread (Signature, Aurifil, or King Tut). 
• Pantographs in separate areas (borders, blocks, etc.) and are charged a custom rate. 
• Custom jobs may not be available due to workload.
• There is no charge for patterns we own. If desired, we can get any pattern available and split the cost. 
• If your backing has a nap (e.g., Minky), there may be some visible pull through to the quilt top.
• Additional charges may apply for the following:
  
  
  • If the top or back needs excessive pressing. 
  • For non-standard prep work (sewing leaders, rounded or odd shaped edges, mending, seam work, etc.).
    
  • Using multiple thread colors.
  • Sewing/piecing backs.
  • Rush Jobs.

How to Prepare your Quilt

• Please press all seams flat. 
• Please remove any loose threads on front. Remove threads from the back only if they contrast against a light color. 
• Please make sure all four sides of your backing have straight edges. 
• Batting & backing need to be a minimum 8 inches larger than the top (4 inches per side). 
• Please don't pin or baste the layers together.
  
• If you have a pieced edge/border (e.g., Piano Keys), please baste around the edge. 
• If you have a top with applique, please make sure that all pieces are securely attached.
