"Serendipity Sampler"

This year's Block of the Month is a very traditional sampler quilt!  With a twist!  There are two skill levels and each skill level has a choice of two setting blocks and there are 4 sizes available, so there is something for everyone! 

The "Simple/Intermediate" version is perfect for strong beginners to intermediate level quilters.  The "Challenge" version features blocks with more intricate piecing.

The quilt sizes are: Large Throw - 75" x 89", Queen - 89" x 102.5", King size with 2 borders - 110.5" x 110.5" and the Big King - 116" x 116".  There are 15 unique sampler blocks in the throw size.  If you're making a larger quilt, you'll choose your favorite sampler blocks and make extra's of those!

Kits will also be available in very similar colors to the pics below.  We'll cover details of the kits during the first class if you're interested or use whatever fabrics you wish.

The cost is $39.00 for the entire year of patterns and instruction.  Classes will be in person at our shop in Vancouver, Washington, or you can participate on-line via our face book support group.  Pattern PDF's will be uploaded on the day of class and video tutorials will be posted for the blocks as well.   If you're not able to come to class, you can watch the tutorials and download the patterns whenever its convenient for you.  You can also attend an in-person class one month and watch online the next, whatever works for you!  Everyone in the "support group" will be able to post pictures of their blocks and ask questions.

We'll also be giving away door prizes each class and two free gift certificates for $100 to be used for long arm quilting of your project!

Last year Facebook allowed for very convenient downloading of all the files/patterns needed for class, as well as sharing, supporting and creativity!   We had several groups of friends from all over the country participate last year, as a fun way for them to do something together. I'm very proud of the 2022 Facebook group for our Block of the Month "My Favorite Things" and I'm looking forward to another fun year of classes with people from all over our country!
